Nashville recommendations

Hotel  -  Renaissance was great.  Terrific location one block off Broadway; Terrific accomodations and service.

Best Honky Tonk--The Legends

Restaurant - Merchants (4th & Broadway)

Best deal in town - watching performers at The Legends.... cost, whatever you want to tip when they pass the bucket about once per hour and no pressure to buy drinks.  And if you do,  a beer is $4.

Best tour--Nash Trash... we hear it's great but we've never been able to get tickets.

Another tour--  yes, we fell for the Visit the Stars Home Tour, but as corny as it may sound, it was really interesting and I would recommend it.   Most impressive was Alan Jackson's former estate which he recently sold for $27 million (he's building a new one for $38 million!!!
