Well, I should have read my last blog before I started this one, to know where I left off. I do know that we were in Park City, UT. We really did enjoy our time there and think it would be a great place to rent a condo when we're sick of the heat back home! You can actually find a very reasonably priced condo during the summer months out there.
Gerry enjoyed the golf courses out there and the prices are so reasonable in comparison to any of the other places he's played golf.
We made a beautiful trip up to Sundance, UT, just to satisfy my curiosity! It really is a beautiful drive to get there, but once you're there - not too much there. We checked it all out and rode the ski lift where we had incredible views. Then we headed back to Park City. Now we can say we've been there! :-) We really did enjoy seeing the beautiful little towns of Midway and Heber.
We had a fun time at dinner with our new friends from Pebble Creek, Goodyear, AZ and their friends. Esther and Dennis had invited us the day Gerry played golf with them. We felt like we were having dinner with old friends! We enjoyed the time with Esther and Dennis, Judy and Jim and Barbie (and look forward to meeting Barbie's husband in AZ). Judy even let us crash her Birthday celebration! Thanks, Judy! We are excited to see our new friends when we get to AZ in October! Fun, fun people!!! :-)
We were sad to leave Park City because we had such a good time there. When I think back, we have been sad to leave our favorite places; Jackson Hole, WY, Bend, OR, Coeur d' Alene, ID, The Lodge at Sandpoint, and now Park City. But on to our next destination......Breckenridge, CO. We always get up the day we're leaving one place with a sense of excitement about our next stop. We actually look forward to the drive to the next location. That day was no exception!
