have spent the last couple of days in Denver...had a great time during the Labor Day weekend. We'll post a blog describing our experiences there. Today we left Denver and are currently in the Boulder area. Had a wonder dining experience tonight at the Village Tavern. We were fortunate to have a great server--McKenzie who we'll add as with a picture in the next day or so. Turns out McKenzie is from Charlotte which turns out to be quite a coincidence... to top that off she was born and spent her early years in Sarasota where we'll be moving some day(!!!). Update, our home should be finished sometime in March.
Just to provide an update.... we're heading up to Estes Park tomorrow and then down through Grand Lake on down to Central City. We're due back in Breckenridge on Friday where we'll be until 9/15. We will fly from Denver to Charlotte on 9/15 and spend ten days there. Can not wait to see the girls, Heather,Our friends, the guys in the office and my golf buddies at Waterford. We'll be there until 9/25 after which we'll fly back to Denver to pick up the car and head back out to Moab Utah, the Grand Canyon, and then on down to Phoenix. We'll be in Phoenix (one of our favorite places), from October 1 through mid December.
We're having a great time together! What an experience this has been and we realize we are very fortunate to be able to do this. I don't know how many pictures we've taken but I'd guess somewhere in the 2000 range... so far we have put on 8500 miles and we're still on the western side of the country.
We'll be posting more specifics about Denver and Boulder in the next day or so....
