It felt good to get back to Breck after 4 days in the Denver area. We really like it here! We decided to go back to the restaurant where we had our Anniversary dinner for their Happy Hour. We walked in and were the only ones there but it didn't take long for it to fill up. What a fun time we had and what great people we met. We had been told by our waitress on our anniversary that Todd, the bartender, was great. She was right! He had the ability to bring the whole room together. Not to mention the amazing Moscow Mule he made me! : ) We left that evening talking non-stop about the new friends we had made: Todd, Charlie and Nancy and Terry and her friend from Phoenix. They were all so interesting and so much fun to talk with. We exchanged email addresses and so will hopefully stay in touch. It's always so interesting finding out how people ended up living where they are and what they love about it.
Here's some pics....

| some new friends around the bar. From left, Charlie and his friend Nancy who hails from Chicago. So sorry, didn't the next person but she spent 29 years in Colorado before moving full time to Phoenix--having a hard time adjusting to the heat. Next to her is a very interesting person by the name of Terry who has lived in Breck for many years. Rides her own motorcycle. |
