One of my favorite memories of taking vacations to Colorado when I was young was waking up to a cool, crisp morning and going to breakfast. We have had many mornings like that on our trip and this morning was no exception. To top off this wonderful morning we had the best bacon we've ever had right here at The Original Pancake House. Yummmmy!!!
From there we headed to downtown Bend to hear a Gospel Choir at the Summer Fest. Wow! They are from Portland and they were awesome!!! Definitely felt like we'd been to church! :-) After their performance there was an R & B group and they were just as awesome! They even threw in some gospel as well. We just had a fantastic day listening to music.
Then it was on to dinner in the Old Mill district, sitting outside overlooking the river. Temperature today reached 79. Doesn't get more perfect than that!
