Today... very windy (30 knots), temps in the high 50's/low 60's... again, very similar to golf in Scotland.
Nothing beats walking 18 holes with a caddy, enjoying the day with good golf partners who I'd never met until today, and the spectacular views of the Pacific Ocean.
A few pics from the course:
My caddy on the left--nickname: Robo.
How about that hole... have to carry the cavern. Yikes! it's really not as long as it looks though
What a great par 3 --- hole number 10. Tee shot is elevated about 100 feet over the hole. With a strong wind coming out of the right, tough to decide what club to hit. Hole is about 130 yards but played to 160.
guess who? Notice I'm dressed pretty warm. Just prior to this took off one layer of clothing... pretty cold at 8:30 am.
This is the picturesque (sp?) number 13 . Beautiful hole where a shot over the canyon is required.
the last hole--a par 5... finished with a par so ready to go back and play the course again.
