Scenes from Park City Utah

Here's a collection of scenes from Park City

This is where Michael and family went skiing last March

Thought this was a very interesting ski lift

Where Michael, Beth and kids stayed.  Ski lift is right across the street!  Nice.......
Some of the many ski trails around Park City

How cool is this bar!

This is the kind of scenery you see when you go out for
a little ride.......so beautiful

It's hard not to take pictures when you see scenes
like this as we're driving around.

One of the golf courses Gerry has played out here
More to come!!!  :-)

On the golf course

Just a sampling of the big, beautiful homes you
see out here - they're everywhere!!!

This is a soon to be played golf course

These are state park courses - very inexpensive
and beautiful!  Great combo!

Soldier Hollow - beautiful links-type
course, one of the state park courses

I love this picture with the sunflower and fence post
with those beautiful mountains as a backdrop

Cute little town of Midway

South of Park City towards Heber

Beautiful lake in Heber Valley

Look how the mountains are right up against the water-notice there is still snow on the slopes in Aug
That big mountain is where Sundance is located

We had no idea we were so close to Sundance.
Heading up there tomorrow to check it out.

What's not to love about Utah???  How pretty is this!

And this!!!

A lot of Swiss influence in architecture in the little
towns of Midway and Heber.....lovely!

Look at that beautiful blue sky!  Love the lack of humidity!

We always have to stop and take a picture of
these beautiful mountain streams

Like I was saying.....

Big summer market on Main Street today
 (Sunday)  August 21, 11

We checked it all out and Gerry managed to find.......

a hat!!!  Surprise, surprise!!!  I must admit I found it for him and knew he would look great in it!  Great golf hat for
Phoenix and Florida - and here!

We can walk out of our condo, cross that bridge
and head right over to the ski lift....how
very handy for skiers

This guy could really make music with this....very cool

It's called Silly Sunday - I guess this is
part of the reason why!

Park City is such a quaint, cute town with lots to keep
you busy!

Here's one I didn't get deleted!

We had dinner on this patio our first nite in town.
If you look closely you can see people on the ski lift.

This is right beside the ski lift

He was actually smiling for me!  :-)

They just place these portable decks out on the street
for outdoor dining.  Very clever!

Our favorite patio in Park City and the food was excellent, as well.

Where we ate for lunch today - on their patio

Gerry wondering if I'll ever quit
taking pictures and just walk
down the street with him...   :-)

Perfect day for eating outside!

Ger's had enough of Silly Sunday and
he's ready to get back to the condo and out of the crowds!

On the way back to our condo.  Park City has  an unbelievable
amount of restaurants for such a small place

This is our timeshare.  Our 1 bedroom condo feels like a mansion to us after spending the last
2 1/2 months living in hotel rooms.  We are loving it!

This is looking towards the area where Michael and family skied last March.

Look at the guy behind me... biggest man I've ever seen and I've stood next to 7 ft guys.  This guy must have been 7'4" tall and he was also muscular -- not at all skinny.  A true giant of a man.  The picture actually loses perspective, if you can believe that!
