Golf in Park City

I love it when you can find a great golf venue and the cost is not exorbitant!   Played the Lake Course at Wasatch Mountain State Park.  Have never seen a state park golf course in this kind of condition--the tee boxes were immaculate, the fairways plush, and the greens as good as any I've played this year.  Beautiful clear mountain streams running through the golf course, plenty of trees to get in the way of the ball, and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains.

All for the astounding price of $35 --- and that included the golf cart!!!

I've enjoyed going to courses as a single and getting partnered up with people you don't know and will likely never see again... I have had nothing but terrific experiences throughout the trip.    The weather has been nothing short of sensational.  Other than the 92 degree day in Missoula, Mt when I walked the course, the rest of the time the weather has been in the low 80's and sunny.  Of course, the exception to that was playing Pacific Dunes and Bandon Dunes in weather that compares with Scotland, but that was to be expected and is part of the wonderful experience of playing Bandon Dunes.

We're here another 7 days in Park City.  Am hoping to play 4 more times and from what I've seen I can play a different course each time and the conditions will be just as good as the Lake Course.  My future golf plans while in Park City include The Mountain Course at Wasatch Mountain, Soldier Hollow--Gold Course, Soldier Hollow-Silver Course, and Park City Golf Course.

Sorry, no pictures.  Unless I have my photographer with me on the cart (Jan), I'm here to play golf, not take photos!!!
